Climate neutrality

Climate change is undoubtedly one of the greatest challenges of our time. Climate protection is also of great importance to Standard-Metallwerke GmbH and is one of the company’s central sustainability tasks. Together with suppliers and customers, we are working to create a value chain that offers maximum sustainability and at the same time utilises natural resources and energy as efficiently as possible.
Sustainability is what drives our company. For this reason, we have developed an ambitious climate strategy. The core of this strategy is to avoid, reduce and, if necessary, offset CO2 emissions if other options are not available. This is based on the objectives of environmental, energy and climate policy.
The responsibility is great, but so is the opportunity to make a contribution to achieving Germany’s climate targets.
